It is possible that when you buy a phone, its language is not correct according to your region or it may also happen that you accidentally change the language which you don’t understand and you don’t know how to change it back.

Change Language on iPhone
You can change the language of the phone including apps and browsers through your phone’s Language Setting. After changing the settings, the language change would reflect in all the apps there on the phone.
We will first see how we can change the Language for the apps and then move to the browser’s language change.
How to change language on iPhone for apps?
Let’s proceed with the steps-
- Open Settings on your iPhone.
- Go to General >> Language & Region >> iPhone or iPad Language.
- Select the preferred language from the list there.
- Confirm the language change by clicking on Change to [your language] pop up.
And that’s it. You will see the change language on iPhone is reflected in all the apps on your iPhone. Similarly, you can also set/change your region if not set to correct. Let’s see how.
Change region on iPhone/iPad
Go to – Settings >> General >> Language & Region >>Region >> Search for your region >> Click on Done.
Note: It may take a few seconds to reflect the language change to your device.
Sometimes it is possible that you don’t want the same language for all the apps in your device or simply wish to have multiple language functionality for the apps. What if you could do so? Yes, It is possible to change the language of individual apps without changing the primary/device language.
Make sure your device has the languages installed that you want to use. If they are not present as default in the language list, you can add it manually. Let’s show you how you can do so.
Adding language to the Language list on iPhone
It also includes similar steps as mentioned above, just a bit of change is required.
- Open Settings on your iPhone.
- Go to General >> Language & Region >>Other Languages.
- Add the language you want to use for individual apps.
- Now from Settings, go to the app for which you want to modify the language.
- Under the Preferred Language section, click on Language >> Add Language.
- Select the language of your preference.
Note:- Not every app offers multiple languages. In that case, you won’t see a Language option on its settings screen at all, if an app doesn’t support additional language. You can also select the order of your preferred language.
How to change language on iPhone for browser?
To change language on iPhone for browsers like Google Chrome or Safari etc, you can follow the below-mentioned steps and you will see the job done.
- Open the browser on your phone.
- Go to the Search Settings page.
- Select for the language settings from the given settings options-
- Language in Google Products:
This option would change the language for your Google interface, the buttons on your screens, and for the messages as well. - Language For browser search results:
This option allows you to pick more than one language to see the search results in. Though it automatically gives the result in the selected language, you can still choose more languages.
- Language in Google Products:
- After selecting the Language Settings option, click on Save.
